TASTINGS AT SEA

Enjoy a day at sea watching the charms of the Ría de Arousa. Then, experience a wine tasting with a technician from the winery in a unique environment, such as an island, the boat or a beautiful cove at the Ría de Arousa.

You can choose between our selected wineries for your wine tasting and make an unforgettable experience out of it.

GOOD PRODUCTION

Attis winery is related to tradition, but also committed to the future and makes sure a thorough inspection of the processes from the vines to the winery is made. Attis winery is known for respecting and highlighting variety and it embraces different characteristics such as sourness, minerality and fruitiness.

GENIO Y FIGURA

Tasting note:

Visual phase: Intense yellow colour with green borders. Clear and shiny.

Smelling phase: Intense and tantalizing smell of fresh fruit (peach and apricot) with subtle citric aromas that give the wine an attractive sensation of freshness.

Tasting phase: Intense taste. The delicious sourness and the persistent aromas produce a long and tantalizing taste in the mouth.

ATTIS

Tasting note:

Visual phase: Strong yellow colour. Clear and shiny.

Smelling phase: Intense and complex smell. It also features tiny touches of fruitiness, white flowers (iris), minerals and salt (ocean) in the smell.

EMBAIXADOR

Tasting note:

Very complex and intense wine, both in the nose and in the mouth. The taste is complete, strong and elegant with a nice approach of smells. It shows aging potential.

NANA

Tasting note:

Visual phase: Strong yellow colour with golden borders.

Smelling phase: Very intense, deep and complex smell. Great ripe fruit load (apricot, Williams pear and peach), touch of toasted nuts and spices and mineral aroma.

Tasting phase: Very dense and intense taste. Its strength is enforced by its sourness and aromas. This is a wine with personality and great potential.

ATTIS SOUSON

Tasting note:

Very attractive and tantalizing wine. Blackberry smell with a touch of oak. Rich and round taste. Its dense structure is extended by its tantalizing sourness. This is a wine to enjoy at the moment.

THE FAMILY TRADITION

Adega Eidos is a family winery which started its business in the year 2000 by producing albariño wine under the Designation of Origin “Rías Baixas”, though Eidos winery started its career in 1993. The current facilities were opened in the “Val do Sanés” in Sanxenxo in 2003 beside a cultivated hillside called “Padriñán”.

EIDOS DE PADRIÑÁN

100% albariño

Description:

This one comes from only one variety of albariño and it is the flagship of the winery. This wine is divergent, personal and complex and it was produced by a maceration following ancient and artisanal methods that were adapted for modern times.

Tasting note:

Shiny greenish yellow colour, it has a fruity smell (apple, pear, melon and peach) over a bottom of mineral aromas. Its taste reminds us of fruits, its sweetness is noticeable and it leaves a nice taste in the mouth. Its sourness is compensated by the typical minerality and saltiness of the wines in that area of the Val do Salnés.

VEIGAS DE PADRIÑÁN

100% albariño

Description:

In Spanish it means “fertile land”. It is selected and produced separately since the moment it starts to grow in the vines. It also comes from only one variety of albariño, it is native, arduous and full of life. With this wine we tried to bring everybody back to our origins by producing it meticulously to preserve its virtues.

Tasting note:

Its shiny golden colour tells us it is a fresh wine. It has a unique smell. It is rich in nuances and it smells to green apple, fresh herbs, citric fruits, minerals (such as granite) and fines herbes. The taste is fresh, fruity and it has a unique touch without losing its fresh sourness.

CONTRAAPAREDE

100% albariño

Tasting note:

It is a clear gold yellow, mineral wine with a touch of white flowers, citric and ripe fruit and a spicy bottom.

Description:

This wine remained for 4 years in 1500L steel barrels generating a more evolved wine which brings us closer to a more traditional viticulture.
